 People are debating about the new Wonder Woman outfit and character design. The popular DC character is getting a makeover after years of wearing and looking the same, and it will appear changed for the first time on Wonder Woman #600!

The costume redesign was in charge of DC Co-Publisher Jim Lee and the new costume marks the beginning of a new team in charge of bringing the newWonder Woman on comic books.

The story of the super heroin has also changed and now she lives in an urban setting. According to Geeks of Doom:

“The direction for the book puts Wonder Woman in a modern era where her original origin story has been altered. The world she would have known is now destroyed and her Amazon race is in danger of extinction.Wonder Woman’s world is now in an urban setting where she knows little about her previous life and she will have to fight to survive.”

There are mixed opinions on the costume of the new Wonder Woman, some people say this new costume and look does not give the same image as the original wonder Woman what do you think?

Joel Zumaya’s painful right arm injury

MINNEAPOLIS — Reliever Joel Zumaya’s painful right arm injury marred the Detroit Tiger’s move into first place, after the Tigers used four first-inning runs against Francisco Liriano to beat the Minnesota Twins 7-5 on Monday night.

Brennan Boesch and Miguel Cabrera hit two-run doubles in the first off Liriano, who surrendered a season-high six runs in six-plus innings while the Tigers passed the Twins for a half-game lead in the AL Central.

That took the background to Zumaya’s health, though, when the hard-throwing right-hander squirmed and winced around on the mound in obvious pain after throwing a pitch with one out in the eighth inning.

Zumaya, who missed large portions of the last two seasons because of shoulder problems, was in so much discomfort his right thumb was shaking while the trainer checked him out.

Manager Jim Leyland said Zumaya will have an MRI exam Tuesday morning. He said it is an elbow injury but declined to speculate further.

"It doesn't look good," Leyland said. "It breaks your heart."

Zumaya, who was wearing a sling on his right arm in the clubhouse, declined to comment through a team spokesman.

Tigers catcher Gerald Laird said he heard a noise “just like a little pop” after Zumaya released the ball and was hesitant to go to the mound, fearing the worst.

Jose Valverde came in and got five straight outs for his 18th straight save, making a winner of Jeremy Bonderman (4-5) and moving the Tigers into first place for the first time since May 20. They were tied then with the sputtering Twins, who have led the division this season for all but a handful of days.

Minnesota fell to 10-15 in June, despite a home run and an RBI triple — his first three-base hit in more than six years — by Jim Thome. The Twins hit into three double plays and lead the majors with 88.

Liriano (6-6) lost his third straight start, the latest Twins starter to fail to stop the slide. Other than Carl Pavano, their rotation is reeling.

Just like on June 17, when Colorado scored three times in the first inning against Liriano and cruised to a victory behind ace Ubaldo Jimenez, the Twins couldn’t fully recover from an early deficit.

Laura Howard, US goaltender Tim Howard's wife, wasn't in South Africa cheering on her hubby in the World Cup (that's a long way to go with 2 little ones), so she caught all the action from Tennessee, where the family lives during the summer. And though she said she's "disappointed" the team lost today against Ghana, she's undoubtedly glad to have her husband back.


"I'm disappointed," she said (via AP). "I just know Tim didn't want it to end up this way. But I do know two little children that will be very excited to see him. He will be back Monday."
Laura even videotaped the scene at the Flying Saucer as the game went on in Cordova, Tennessee. "He'd be blown away to know that this was the type of reception they got," she said.

Even though the guys are coming home without a win, she said the experience has been great for the whole family.“It’s been great,” she said. “I have gotten calls from lots of friends that I haven’t heard from in a long time and we have a lot of family in the area. It’s been really amazing. I even heard Graceland was lit up in red, white, and blue.”

The Howard family lives in Tennessee for the summer, and thanks to World Cup fame, the soccer family might not be able to go unrecognized anymore. "Not anymore!,” Laura said. “I’m originally from here so that’s a big reason we chose to live here, but (Tim) loves to put on flip-flops and go to the gas station. But I don’t think he’s going to be able to do that anymore.”

At its heart, "Glee" is a show about inclusion and about arts education, which was proven in the June 8 finale when even the diabolical Sue Sylvester (Jane Lynch) acted like an educator for once. Though Rachel Berry (Lea Michele) may beg to differ, the hero of the story is Will Schuester (Matthew Morrison), the teacher who may stumble but ultimately maintains faith in his students.

In the finale, New Directions performed "To Sir, With Love," from the film of the same name in tribute to Mr. Schue for all the lessons he's taught them over the season. The performance reduced most of the characters to tears -- and okay, some of us at home were crying, too.

"To Sir, With Love" is a 1967 British drama that starred Sydney Poitier as a noble teacher at an inner-city school. It's based on the novel by E. R. Braithwright. The song, by Lulu, was the Billboard #1 pop single in 1967.

We think the song was a well-deserved nod not only to Mr. Schuester but to art teachers everywhere who have to fight for funding.

However,this incident brought out the wrath of his parents against him lol.
This is what Justin confessed to  Pops magazine, “I snuck out once. My friend slept over and we were like, ‘Let’s go out.’ We just went biking and were being stupid but we weren’t doing anything bad.”
“But the police saw us and brought me back home, because there was a curfew on the area! It was two in the morning and I got grounded for a month! That’s the worse trouble I’ve ever been in.”

Golden Girl Rue McClanahan Dies at 76

Rue McClanahan, who played a man-crazy Southern belle in the seminal '80s sitcom "Golden Girls," died early Thursday of a massive stroke. She was 76. McClanahan had suffered a minor stroke in January during recovery from heart bypass surgery, her manager said at the time.

"Golden Girls," which has aired in syndication nearly nonstop since its successful run from 1985 to 1992 on NBC, has been discovered by a whole new generation lately, partly because of costar Betty White and her resurgent popularity.

White is now the sole surviving cast member. Bea Arthur died last year of cancer, and Estelle Getty died in 2008.

McClanahan won an Emmy in 1987 for her portrayal of Blanche Devereaux, an aging beauty who still had an eye for the fellas. The actress' resume stretches back to the '60s and includes some of TV's most memorable shows, such as "All in the Family," "Maude," "The Love Boat" and "Touched by an Angel."

The Oklahoma native, who'd had a successful Broadway career before turning to television, also appeared in a number of feature films, including "Starship Troopers" and "Out to Sea." McClanahan had suffered from breast cancer in the mid-'90s but recovered. She subsequently became an advocate for cancer fundraising and research and, like her friend and colleague White, worked on behalf of animal welfare groups.

[Updated at 1:01 p.m.] As part of a series with Emmy winners, the TV Academy of Arts and Sciences Foundation interviewed Rue McClanahan at length in 2006 about her career. Among the highlights: She talked about being plucked from a "boring" stage play by TV legend Norman Lear to audition for "All in the Family." That was the beginning of her storied TV run. In 2007, she published  a memoir with the sassy title "My First Five Husbands ... and the Ones Who Got Away."

The American lobster, Homarus americanus, is one species of lobster found on the Atlantic coast of North America. Within North America, it is also known as the northern lobster, Atlantic lobster or Maine lobster. It thrives in cold, shallow waters where there are many rocks and other places to hide from predators and is both solitary and nocturnal. It feeds on fish, small crustaceans, and mollusks.

An average adult is about 9 in (229 mm) long and weighs 1.5 to 2 lb (680.4 to 907.2 g).
